Exploring What's Next, Together

We seek a diverse series of sessions including (not limited to):

  • Technical Presentations: Explore cutting-edge research, emerging threats, and technological solutions.

  • Case Studies: Share real-world experiences and lessons learned in addressing cyberbiosecurity challenges.

  • Workshops: Offer interactive sessions for hands-on skill-building and practical applications.

  • Panel Discussions: Facilitate debates and discussions on critical topics, featuring diverse perspectives.

  • Lightning Talks: Deliver concise, impactful insights in short, engaging presentations.

Proposals should align with the needs in cyberbiosecurity and the ongoing activity at BIO-ISAC (isac.bio), such as device security, securing genomic data, protecting networked systems, mitigating threats to biomanufacturing, advancing workforce and governance training, and building resilient systems for the future of biotech. They should also demonstrate connection to the conference theme, "Unintended Consequences, Unmet Needs." Proposals should reflect awareness or connection to global and domestic influences and be prepared for a public audience.

Share the stretch goal for your topic idea. The selection committee expects your ideas will need additional support or discussion to become a session. Detailing your interests, goals, and needs for space, connections, or device access is acceptable and encouraged.

Why Submit a Proposal?

  • Showcase your expertise to understand the bioeconomy and the attributes that require dedicated attention to cyberbiosecurity.

  • Contribute to the advancement of best practices in a rapidly evolving field.

  • Build valuable connections with peers and industry leaders.
